The direction.
Élise Varenne is a fictional French companion of thirty-four, raised in Lyon and now at home in Paris. She translates books, lingers in galleries and prefers a good story to a perfect plan. Her website opens with a studio portrait, then moves through a personal letter, five photographic moments and illustrative rates. A black dress, soft daylight, paper and oxblood give the experience continuity. Switch between English and French, explore the portraits and prepare a demonstration note.
The prototype is an illustrative experience. Its identity and materials are fictional; it does not accept real inquiries or payments.
Five frames from one sitting.
The photographs follow one invented character in the same black dress and daylight studio: standing, seated, at ease, walking away and a close detail. Her face stays outside the frame or turned away. A wide photograph opens the desktop experience; a standing portrait opens on mobile. Hover or tap the sequence to explore its subtle changes in scale and colour.
A personal voice in two languages.
English and French cover the letter, captions, practical details and private-note panel. Changing language keeps visitors in the same experience. Both versions carry Élise’s literary interests, quiet humour and Paris setting; image descriptions and the prepared note change with the language too.
An invitation to write.
Visitors can select an illustrative duration and open a private-note panel for their name, occasion, place and message. A preview shows the note before it is copied or opened as an email draft. Details stay in the current page’s memory; the website has no submission or payment backend. The email address is a fictional placeholder and Telegram opens a demonstration share screen. Élise is not a real provider and accepts no inquiries or payments.
